Didn't get a cable, too busy, so the real photos will have to wait
till I get home. Spent most of the day shopping in 18-22 degree
weather with a strong wind I have a new understanding of cold. Even
got Josh wearing a scarf, or two. I love the stores here. Soo much of
a selection of everything...
We went to Radio City Music Hall tonight and saw the Christmas show
with the Rockettes. That was... interesting.
We feel like subway experts at this point. :-)
I still love this town.
Hi mom and girls, I love you all!!

So we had quite an eventful day. Took forever getting here with all
the weather delays. We finally made it to the hotel around 8:30pm
eastern time. We asked the front desk for a dinner recommendation and
ended up at this Italian joint. The setting: small, dark cozy
atmosphere with the Italian mafia looking guys standing around
watching over you like Centurions. Add a crazy piano player with ADD
and you have one of the best dinners I have had in a long time. Then
we went and figured out the subway system(an adventure in itself) and
made it to the Empire State Building. Oh My. We opened the door at the
top and the 45 mph north winds that kept our plane away were out in
force. That was the coldest wind I have ever experienced in my life.
No joke. It had to be negative something windchill. It literally took
your breath away. So did the view. I have pics as you can see in this
preview but I forgot the cable so I'll pick one up tomorrow and upload
them later. My iPhone pics aren't gonna do it justice. We also
explored Grand Central Station which our Hyatt is attched to.
Ginormous. It's 12:30 am here and the crowds are still out. A night
owls dream. I love this city!

We made it. Finally. Hello NewYork.

Just had a fabulously funny dinner with the Harris's at Chuy's. My
stomach hurts from too much creamy jalepeno and laughing so much.

Did I mention that I love Austin?..

Just got to see my friend Becky who lives in Thailand. She was
stateside for a wedding. And I got to talk to my Amy in PA. I love how
distance no longer keeps loved ones away.
I <3 my phone. .

Officially turned in my resignation. My last day is New Years Eve. And
with my NY trip and then 3 days off for Christmas, that only leaves 16
more days of this place! This isn't my idea of a fun saturday morning.
Josh says he likes me better as a princess. But I liked working, just
not at a bank..

I love this city and my state!
There are so many "only in Texas..isms.. "
but really, only here, can it be sideways blizzard style blinding snow one minute, and then bright sunny skies the next. Gotta love it. It makes you smile.
As they say, if you don't like the weather, stick around.. it will change..

Speaking of change, dang it, it's time to go to work..

Hannah's ultrasound is done. Praying they found nothing.
Now lunch with my mama and brother.
I love Jason Mraz.
Gotta work this afternoon.
My favorite red striped scarf is still going strong..
Late dinner with girlfriends tonight.
Josh got a permanent job offer!
..and the snowman kit I bought..
Yeah, who's laughing now?!
And it's supposed to snow on my bday in NYC.
I'm one of His favorites.

My day off.
Spent the morning with my wonderful hair stylist Jaclyn. Those roots
are gone and it's as blonde as ever! Gonna look good for those New
York pics next week.
Just dropped the girls off with some friends; they're going to go
volunteer at Blue Santa this afternoon. They are a great bunch of girls.
As for me, I'd say some Christmas shopping is in order..
