braces and shots

So my 14 year old got braces today and I got 5 of my immunizations. Only one of them really hurt bad. But Ronnie and Karen made me laugh and distracted me at the dr.'s office. Thank God for good friends... I found my malaria pills, now have to find the typhoid....

more money for Swaziland

Ok, I was wrong, I still need more money. :)
I need money for my immunizations, an airport hotel in Johannesburg, craft supplies for the kids, etc.. so gotta keep praying for God to move a few more people to help me out... :)
We're about to get real busy with preparations. We need to create and practice a skit, a drama, a Christmas message, some songs, a craft, etc.. We will be meeting alot more frequently now as a team. We had a great meeting on Saturday morning working out some more details. Seems like we never have enough time though..

Africa itinerary

So Dan from Childrens Cup came to meet with the team and give us our itineraries. It was very nice to meet him and it was nice to get more specific info about our trip. They prepared a very impressive bound booklet with a ton of information for us. Turns out we're not just doing one Christmas party, but 4! All in different locations. Every day has a new exciting place to be and more people to meet and help. And as a bonus we get to spend one night in a game park and do the animal tour early in the morning.
So as of today, as soon as 2 checks arrive that I know are coming later this month, I will be finished raising support!!!!! Praise God! Thank you to all who have sent in money, I could not be more blessed. Any more donations that I get will go to pay for the numerous immunizations I need and then spending/emergency money.
I can't wait to see what God is going to do....

running

The last 2 times I ran (today and friday), my legs gave out before my lungs. This is a miraculous thing. We have been praying for my asthma to be gone and this is a huge milestone. It is not gone though so we will keep praying.

breast cancer awareness month

Please stop and pray for God to show us the cure. Also please pray for my friend Debi whose last treatment is Monday. Read her blog and you'll know how to pray. She is an awesome inspiring woman of God.
