So today I went and helped out in media and got to do the first part of a fun photo shoot for a promo for an upcoming sermon series, "Rocked". I took a bunch of photos that will be pieced together to make them kinda like a video. Tomorrow we'll finish it with some live shots and more photos. I miss photography so bad. Getting creative today was like stretching out the muscles that haven't been used and I felt very rusty, but enjoyed throwing myself back into it.
I actually did a wide variety of things at church today. I got to use a drill, hammer, measuring tape, screws, anchors and a variety of screwdrivers; and my camera of course :-)

theatrical debut

The girls were in their first play this weekend. Pride and Prejudice. It was wonderful! They've been working on it since January in their homeschool theatre class at One Day Academy. It was held at the Way Off Broadway Theatre in Leander. I was very impressed and entertained. I had no idea it would be that good. They can't wait to start over again in the fall and do another one. So glad they've found something else they love to do..

We had our first service in the new Heroes building tonight; it was very cool and totally packed...

Tomorrow morning I have a conference call with Ben in Africa about the timeline for our church in Mozambique. He sent me pics of the land it will be built on and it's beautiful, I'll see if I can post them tomorrow. I also have a birthday lunch with my mom tomorrow and I'm shooting photos for the Church Planters Roundtable conference tomorrow night and friday at church.
I must make an attempt at sleeping tonight...
And no, I'm still not employed and it's not looking good, but that's ok, I only want what God has for my life, and if it's not working there, I'm ok with that. Just pray that he opens another door for me.
And that I don't get discouraged.

Ok, that was a LOOOOng weekend. I spent yesterday in a fog. I think I went grocery shopping at 3 different places. Oh man, I gotta go pick up the girls...

oh yeah!

I have a date with my husband tomorrow night (wait, it's past midnight, so TONIGHT!) :-)
And absolutely nothing I have to do during the day :-)
...tomorrow is gonna totally rock! ( I mean today, after I go to bed and wake up.. ) :-)

I want this for my other car. It is too cute and gets an avg of 27 mpg! I saw one on the road yesterday and it looked like fun.
