In other news I just heard the chorus of my daughters first song writing venture. She wrote and played it on the piano. It was so beautiful. I am so proud of her.

Had a great long dinner with René. So good to catch up with my friend who has been gone for weeks. Saw another long lost friend tonight but didn't talk to them. You know how you just get tired of going to them and you get to the point where it's just their turn to come see you? You look at them across the room and think, maybe today?.. but no.. I guess not today. Their loss.
